Meeting of Libyan public leaders: US - British proposal a big trick

A meeting of Libya's leadership announced that it considers the US - British resolution that passed through the Security Council a "trick" and an attempt to snatch the Libyan suspects in the Lockerbie case to Britain and America.
The group said in a statement issued after a meeting observed by Libyan leader Moammar Gaddafi that this attempt will not succeed. The statement referred to Libya's adherence to converting its desert into a bridge and outlet to Africa on the Mediterranean Sea and to establishing joint projects with African countries.
