Tunisia witness large increase in visiting Tourists

During the first 6 months of this year, the number of tourists visiting Tunisia reached nearly 1.44 million, an increase of 6.3% compared to the same period at last year.

This increase in the number of tourists is related to the rising number of tourists from the North African countries, especially Libya, which recorded a large increase of 30% in the number of its tourists to Tunisia, reaching 178,000 tourists during the first half of the current year.

Meanwhile the number of French tourists rose by 16% and reached 348,000 thousand tourists, while the number of German tourists coming to Tunisia reached about 366,000, an increase of 4%.
