A Moroccan court has sentenced lately a French national to four years in jail for drug trafficking charges. Daniel Christian, 49, was caught on August 30 at the northern Moroccan port of Tangiers with some 220 kg of cannabis concealed in his Peugeot van. Go

Algerian security sources announced on Monday that five persons were killed and another 11 wounded in a bomb explosion on Sunday night in Mashrat al-Safa town near Teyart, 300 km southwest of the capital, Algiers. The security forces did not give details about the explosion. Go
