Tunis hosts International Congress on History of Medicine

Tunis is hosting September 7-11 the 36th session of the International Congress on the History of Medicine. The congress, attended by 350 participants from 60 countries, is debating Arab-Muslim medicine and surgery, medicine teaching, including the teaching of the history of medicine, ethics and Greek-Latin medicine. An exhibition featuring ancient Arab-Muslim surgical instruments will also be held in parallel to the congress.
