Egyptian agricultural exports down by LE 400 million

Egyptian Minister of Agriculture Yousef Wali announced today that,"Egypt's agricultural exports reached 1.3 billion Egyptian pounds in the current year."
The Cabinet's information center announced today that agricultural exports will reach LE 1.7 billion.
The LE 400 million decrease in expectations is a result of conditions the European Union imposed on imports from Egypt to protect its local products.
The Egyptian Ministry of Trade announced today that its exports of potatoes to the European countries in the coming year will not exceed 150,000 thousand tons.
