Moroccan movie candidate for eight African awards

A Moroccan feature film is a candidate for eight awards at the Pan-African Film Festival which is to open on November 14 in South Africa.
According to the movie's director, Saad Chraibi, the festival's jury nominated the movie "Femmes et Femmes" ("Women and Women") for best director, best female comedian, best screen writer, best photo, best female support role and best sound.
Through the daily life of three former school mates, the movie relates the problems of women in the Moroccan society, by addressing various social categories: a journalist, a teacher and a housewife.
