No room for Gaza university students

The continued closure of the Gaza Strip and the absence of the safe passage between the strip and the West Bank, more and more Palestinian students are left without university studies. According to Palestinian estimates, at least 1,500 students from Gaza cannot enroll in universities this year because there is no room for them in the local university while they cannot leave to the West Bank and join the universities there.
In the West Bank itself, there are hundreds of students originally from the Gaza Strip who have finished their studies but cannot return home simply because Israel has refused to accord them with appropriate permits.
