Arab ministers: distinction between resistance and terrorism
Regional, Politics, 9/3/1998

Secretary general of the council of the Arab ministers of the interior, Ahmad Bin Muhammad al-Salem, said that the council's meeting due to be held in Tunis will concentrate on discussing several issues of concern to common Arab security, including fighting international terrorism.

In an interview with Sawt al-Arab radio on Wednesday, al-Salem added that the Arab ministers of interior will discuss a memorandum of coordination and cooperation on delivering criminals and exchanging information. The memorandum will be submitted to the forthcoming meeting of the international police.

Al-Salem asserted the importance of distinguishing between national resistance and terrorism, noting that terrorism is condemned and denounced by all world countries.
