Over 26,000 expatriate Moroccans crossed northern borders in one day

A total of 26,675 Moroccan expatriates in Europe crossed on Sunday the Moroccan northern port of Tangiers on their way to their host countries after spending their summer holidays home.
According to official sources, on Saturday and Friday the figure stood respectively at 29,575 and 25,819.
The nine ferry boats servicing Tangiers and southern Spain made between 23 and 27 daily trips during this peak period, during which Moroccan expatriates are going back to the various European countries in which they live.
