Moroccan singer wins first prize at Cairo festival

Moroccan woman singer Nadia Ayoub has won the first Arab song prize at the Cairo International Song Festival.
Nadia Ayoub won the $12,000 prize for her song "I am in Love," written by Moroccan Mustafa Baghdada and composed by Egyptian Tawfik Hilmi.
Second prize was awarded to Egyptian singer Adham Ilham, while the third prize was shared between Egyptian singers Mahmoud Abdellah and Chaimaa Chaib.
First prize for Western-style songs was awarded to Omar Snino of Argentina while second prize went to Egyptian Yasser Chaabane and third prize was bagged by Elena Christina of Romania.
