Yemen mediation to the efforts of the Somali reconciliation.

Abdul Qader Bajamal, Yemen's deputy prime minister and foreign minister, sent messages to Arab League Secretary-General Esmat Abdul Meguid and Egyptian Foreign Minister Amr Moussa concerning the mediation efforts exerted by Yemen to achieve Somali reconciliation. The message directed to the Arab League asked it to play its role in presenting financial and spiritual support as well as the support of the fund established by the AL in order to help Somalia achieve security.
