Arab states discuss Arab League financial problems

The works of the 54th session of the permanent committee for financial and the administrative affairs started today at the headquarter of the Arab League (AL) under the chairmanship of Dr. Abdul Aziz El-Nasrallah, the undersecretary of ministry of economy and finance in Saudi Arabia.
Abdul Karim said the committee will discuss issues concerning the AL's general budget for 1999, the budget of the Arab fund for providing technical aid to Africa, the requested support for the Arab session that will be held in Jordan in the coming year and some of the financial aspects concerned with the league's mission in Addis Ababa and London.
Abdul Karim added that the financial center and the payback level in the budget of the current year reached a good percentage and the real pay back so far reached $16 million with what equals 56% of the league's total budget.
