Morocco's Hicham Arazi out of U.S. Commack Open

Moroccan tennis player Hicham Arazi was ousted Thursday in the second round of the U.S. Commack tournament listed in ATP fixtures. Arazi, seeded 43 in the ATP standings, was defeated at the second round of the $315,000 event by France's Nicolas Escude 6/3, 3/6 and 6/3.
In the first round, Arazi defeated Goran Ivanisevic of Croatia 5/7, 6/3 and 7/6. Arazi will take part next Monday in the US Open at Flushing Meadows, wherein he will face Australian racket star Patric Rafter.
