Damascus, Baghdad to reopen trade centers

Iraqi Minister of Trade Muhammad Mahdi al-Saleh said on Thursday that Syria and Iraq will reopen the two trade centers in the two countries' capitals after the centers were closed for 18 years.
Saleh added after his meeting with director-general of the free zones in Syria, Khaled Raad, that the Syrian trade center in Baghdad will resume its activities in the coming days, noting that a similar Iraqi delegation will head for Damascus to open the Iraqi trade center there. Also, for the second running year Iraq is taking part in the Damascus International Fair, which opens today.
