Thousands of Palestinians demonstrate against U.S. strikes

Leader of the Islamic Hamas Movement Sheikh Ahmad Yassin led on Wednesday thousands of demonstrators in Gaza strip against the recent American air strikes against Sudan and Afghanistan, Kuwaiti news agency kuna reported.
Carrying banners decrying the American hits, the demonstrators shouted slogans denouncing the U.S. and calling on Moslems worldwide to Boycott American goods.
Speaking to the participants, Sheikh Yassen expressed belief that Arabs should Boycott American products so that America feels that Arabs and Moslems are dissatisfied with its policies.
The U.S. launched missile attacks against selected targets inside Afghanistan and Sudan, including a pharmaceutical plant north of Khartoum, last Thursday.
Washington said it was retaliating for the twin bombing of the American embassies in Kenya and Tanzania that claimed hundreds of lives and wounded thousands.
