A free trade zone between Egypt, Lebanon and Tunis

A preliminary meeting of the Egyptian committee was held yesterday in the Egyptian foreign ministry to discuss the preparation for convening the meetings of the Lebanese - Tunisian - Egyptian committees to resume the final negotiations tour for establishing a free trade zone between Egypt and the two countries.
The meeting was attend by representatives of ministers of economy, industry, agriculture, union of industries and the public union for the trade chambers.
The meeting was headed by ambassador Sayed Zeid the assistant foreign minister for the Arabian affairs.
Diplomatic sources said that "the meeting discussed all matters concerning facilitating commercial exchange, investment," as well as individual and laborers movement between the three states.
