Paris hosts first colloquy on Moroccan - French partnership
Morocco-France, Economics, 8/26/1998
The Moroccan-French Friendship Association will hold on October 1 a colloquy on partnership between the two countries.
Debates will enable participants to better understand the specifics and new realities of Morocco, whose development is the best sign of stability, the association said.
The colloquy will be co-chaired by speakers of the Moroccan and French lower houses, while the closing session will be attended by the prime ministers of France and Morocco, Lionel Jospin and Abderrahmane Youssoufi.
The one-day encounter, held on the occasion of Youssoufi's first state visit to France, will feature three round-table discussions on politics and democracy, economy and socio-cultural partnership between the two countries.
