Fish professionals' international meeting to convene in Morocco

The fourth international meeting of fish exporters and importers will be held in Agadir, Southern Morocco, next September 9-11.
The meeting, to be attended by some 60 professionals from Africa, Europe and the United States, will discuss a number of issues relating to ways of improving fish marketing, shipping and conservation.
The meeting features seminars and workshops on international trade of sea products, export opportunities offered by the American market, and fish quality checking.
On the fringes of the international meeting, the African association of sea products' importers and exporters will hold its first general assembly. The African fisheries professionals will discuss the possibility of setting up an African shrimp bourse, the modernization of fishing industry and the launching of an African fish "label."
The standardization of customs duties and means of protecting African sea resources will also be tackled during the meeting.
