Iran: Iranian president will visit Paris in September

Iranian sources in Cairo stated that Iranian President Mohammed Khatami will visit Paris during September, where he will meet with French President Jacques Chirac.
The sources told ArabicNews.com that the two presidents will discuss economic and political cooperation cooperation between the two countries.
French Foreign Minister Hebert Vedrine, who is currently visiting Tehran, said in press statements that Iran is passing through an important stage, adding that his country is convinced of the desire of President Khatami to promote change and openness.
Vedrine stated that he intends to raise all subjects with Iranian officials, including human rights and Iran's position toward the peace process in the Middle East.
