1500 American soliders arrived at Kuwait

An American force arrived in Kuwait today including 1,500 soliders to start training in the Kuwaiti desert lasting for the beginning of the coming September within the defensive cooperation between the two countries.
A Kuwaiti source told ArabicNews.com that the new units, which work under the order of the US Central Command, will carry out maneuvers with the Kuwaiti forces which will be held under the name Intrinsic Action 98-3.
The exercises aim at continuing the US presence in Kuwait, developing the defensive capabilities of Kuwaiti forces, strengthening military relationships, improving operational capability, and improving the American - Kuwaiti leaderships cooperation in joint work.
The Kuwaiti source said the exercises aim at improving the U.S. forces' capabilities to deploy quickly.
