New Jordanian government sworn in

The new Jordanian government formed by Fayez Tarawneh was on Thursday night sworn in before Crown Prince Hassan. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is assigned to Abdullah al-Khatib, the Information Ministry to Nasser Joudah, the Ministry of Interior to Nayef al-Qadi, and al-Tarawneh has kept the Ministry of Defense in the Cabinet, which has no deputy premiers.
As chairman of the Royal Court, Tarawneh was replaced by Jawad al-Anani who was the foreign minister under former Prime Minsiter Abdul Salam al-Majali's resigned government.
