Palestinians have the right to declare their own state

Palestinian President Yasser Arafat said on Wednesday that the Palestinians have the right to announce their independent state by next May 5. Speaking to Egyptian television, Arafat said that Israel intends to waste time and does not offer any new ideas to salvage the peace Process.
