Surplus in Omani trade balance

Omani economic sources revealed that the surplus in the Omani trade balance reached nearly 15.2 million Omani riyals during the first half of 1998.
The sources said that Ahmed bin Abdulnabi Macki, minister of national economy, confirmed that Omani exports reached 1,060 million Omani riyals ($2.727 billion), while imports reached 1,044.8 million riyals ($2.688 billion) during the same period.
