A message from Iraqi FM to his Iranian counterpart

Iranian Foreign Minister Kamal Kharazi received a message from Iraqi Foreign Minister Muhammad Saeed al-Sahaf.
The message was delivered by the Iraqi charge d'affairs in Tehran, Salah al-Samarmad, during his meeting today with Kharazi in Tehran.
During the meeting, Kharazi stressed the importance of continued dialogue to maintain good relations and to establish relations based on the grounds of mutual respect between the two countries. He expressed that suspended problems impeding the process of improving relations between Tehran and Baghdad can be eliminated. For his part, the Iraqi diplomat expressed his country's desire to further improve relations with Iran.
