Arab teachers meet in Libya

Meetings of the first forum for Arab teachers will start on Saturday in Tripoli, Libya. The 10-day meetings will bear the slogan, "The unity of Arab teachers is a step towards full Arab unity."
The forum in which representatives of teachers unions in various Arab states will take part, will discuss means of initiating ties and contacts among Arab teachers and measures to protect forthcoming Arab generations from Western cultural invasions. The forum will also discuss the role played by Arab teachers in confronting all forms of extremism and terrorism and to acquaint students with Arab values.
