France finances Mauritanian program for wheat sales at low price

France and Mauritania signed in the Mauritanian capital of Nouakchott Tuesday a financial protocol, under which France will finance an operation to sell 795 tons of wheat in the southeastern region of Brakna.
The operation, to be carried out in 20 selling points in the 21 communes of the region, is meant to stabilize prices in the drought-affected region.
