Arab League to continue boycotting Israel

An official source at the Arab League has asserted that the Arab boycott of Israel is continuous and complete.

The source added that during its forthcoming session the Arab League council will discuss a report on following up on the implementation of the Arab League's council resolutions of 1997-1998 concerning the liaison officers in regional offices responsible for boycotting Israel in the Arab states.

Also to be discussed is a report on the Damascus based office, which is the headquarters of the regional offices, responsible for warranting the boycott of Israel.

The report went on to explain that the council will discuss the biannual report prepared by the main office responsible for the boycott of Israel to inform the AL council about developments concerning the Israeli economy, the volume of military and economic aid Israel receives and the names of companies, establishments and ships which commit to or violate the boycott of Israel.
