Moroccan MPs welcomed by Niger's prime minister

Niger's prime minister, Ibrahim Hassane Mayaki, received in Niamey on Monday, the Moroccan MP delegation to the 21st congress of the African Parliamentary Union to open today in the Nigerien capital.
The prime minister praised the interest granted by King Hassan II to the development of Morocco-Niger relations and voiced his country's will to upgrade political and economic cooperation with Morocco in all sectors.
The head of the Moroccan delegation, Abdelaziz Alaoui Hafidi, expressed Morocco's readiness to reinforce its ties with Niger and enhance cooperation between the two countries' legislative bodies.
During their five-day gathering, African MPs will review a number of issues relating to the African MPs Union and the role of African deputies in the establishment of peace and stability on the continent.
The Agenda also includes debates on the latest socio-economic and political developments in Africa and ways to enhance economic complementarity and struggle against famine, illiteracy and other development issues.
