Mubarak: Israel should withdraw from Arab lands, supports Sudan's unity

President Hosni Mubarak of Egypt stated that just and comprehensive peace in the Middle East region is not attainable without the restoration of Arab rights and Israel's full withdrawal from the occupied Arab territories.
In a statement to the Egyptian daily "Mayo" issued on Monday, the Egyptian president added that the region's security and stability is linked to the restoration of the usurped Arab rights and implementation of international legitimacy resolutions. He urged Israel to give up its intransigence toward the peace process and to implement all reached obligations and agreements on various tracks (Palestine-Syria-Lebanon).
Concerning the possibility of convening an Arab summit, the Egyptian President stressed the need for good preparations for the summit in order to achieve its set objectives. On Egyptian-Sudanese relations, President Mubarak reiterated his country's total commitment to Sudan's unity and to help it preserve its national integrity and ensure the prosperity for its people.
Mubarak also condemned the embassy bombings took place in Kenya and Tanzania. He said that justice is the real guarantee to preventing violence.
