UNEP executive director in Algeria

The executive director of the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP), Klaus Topfert, started on Sunday a three day-work visit to Algeria to cover means of upgrading cooperation between UNEP and Algeria in matters of desertification, preservation of natural resources, pollution, and urbanization-related problems.
