Saudi crown prince to travel to US, Europe and Asia

Saudi Crown Prince Abdullah is planning a trip to the United States, Europe and the Far East this year, diplomats said on Sunday.
Prince Abdullah's trip is expected to include the United States, Britain, France, China and Japan, "Reuters" quoted foreign diplomats in Saudi Arabia as saying.
Foreign diplomats said the dates of the trip, which could take place next October, are not yet fixed.
Crown Prince Abdullah has been assuming increasing responsibilities in view of King Fahd's failing health. The Saudi monarch underwent last week surgery to have his gall bladder removed, Map reported.
