Regional, Politics, 8/17/1998

The general trusteeship of the Arab ministers of interior urged in a statement issued by the Arab Bureau for Security Information in Cairo yesterday the developed countries to reconsider their policies of absorbing elements that use those countries' laws and lands to finance, plan and organize sabotage and terrorism.

The statement said that "it has become very clear that these terrorists elements are capable of creating terror all over the earth, as well as of causing extreme damage to governments and people of developing and developed countries.

The general trusteeship urged the foreign countries to establish stronger relations with Arab states in the judicial and the security fields to achieve an effective confrontation against terrorists' criminal activities and to maintain the security and safety of the mankind.
