Egyptian Shoura council member dies

The Egyptian opposition Liberal Party has announced that its leader, Mustafa Kamal Murad, who is also member of the Shoura Council, died this morning at the age of 71, following a year-long illness.
Murad was born in Cairo in 1927. Since 1969 he was member of the Ummah council. He was elected as secretary of the People's Assembly after 1970. He founded the socialist liberals party in 1975 and issued a daily paper in the same now. He is married. He is survived by three children.
