Dollar down, pound sterling up in Cairo

The weekly economic report of the Egyptian Cabinet issued today, refers to the reduction in the average price of the dollar during the last week in Egyptian banks. The dollar's price amounted to 238.80 piasters, down from 329 piasters during the previous week.
On the other hand the average price of the pound sterling increased by 1.29% to reach 553 piasters for banknotes and 552 for transfers.
then regarding the prices of the interest, its average prices increased in the general bonds during the past week to 8.817% in return for 8.88% for the previous week.
