Lebanon approves Syrian customs reduction

Lebanese economic circles approved yesterday, the Syrian presidential decree - issued yesterday to reduce the Syrian customs duties on Lebanese industrial products at a rate of 25% annually for four years starting from January 1999.
The decree also dictates exempting reports of construction and trade bills for Lebanese goods exported to Syria. The decree authorized the Syrian minister of finance to issue the executive instructions with the Syrian minister of industry and economy.
