Yemeni Socialist Party getting ready for its fourth conference

The preparatory committee for the fourth general conference of the Yemeni Socialist Party, decided to determine a date for convening the conference during its meeting, setting the date for the conference in the second half of the current month.

The preparatory committee concluded its meetings yesterday which viewed discussions concerning ratifying the documents of the general conference, which establish the party's political program, the external system, the political report, and the list of the conference's deputies.

The preparatory committee comprises members of the political bureau's 26 members, heads of the party's branches in Yemeni governorates.

The conference was delayed for 9 years because of the strong disputes between the party's leadership, especially concerning Yemeni unity.
