US embassy in Cairo is open

Sources from the US embassy in Cairo denied yesterday the embassy's closure and confirmed the continuity of the work in the US cultural center in Cairo and Alexandria.
The news was reported yesterday concerning the closure of the US embassy in Cairo after threats reached the US State Department against US interests in Egypt, Yemen and Malaysia. The news also referred to the cooperation between the US embassy in Cairo and the Egyptian authorities considering security procedures.
