April Understanding monitors hold Israel responsible for violation

The April Understanding monitoring committee held Israel responsible for violating items of the understanding which bans launching attacks against residential areas or targeting civilians in military operations.
In a statement released Tuesday night, following its morning meeting at UNIFIL headquarters at the Lebanese border city of Naqoura, the committee stressed that Israeli troops violated the understanding by shelling Majdal Zoun and Ein Qana towns. The bombardment resulted in wounding two Lebanese civilians, 10 houses were damaged and two sedan cars were destroyed.
