Arafat forms committee for donor countries project proposals

Palestinian President Yasser Arafat has formed a committee comprising Palestinian officials responsible for finance, planning and international cooperation in the Palestinian authority.
The committee is in charge of following up on projects proposed by the donor countries and preparations for meetings to be held by these countries. The committee was set up after the donor countries criticized the Palestinian government for not drawing up a clear plan for projects carried out by these countries in areas under the control of the authorities, Israeli radio reported.
