Algerian television shows bodies of 25 Islamists

Algerian official television on Tuesday in its first main news bulletin showed bodies of 25 gunmen killed by the Algerian security forces in Forno mountain in Telmesan province, to the West of the country.
The video tape contained images of the bodies of gunmen dressed in torn clothes and sport shoes. The TV also showed pictures of various types of weapons.
The Algerian security forces said that this group had killed 12 persons in Wad Khali town in al-Bweiji district near Telmesan province on July 25. The sources added that the group had confiscated 20 automatic machine-guns in this operation.
This is the largest operation carried out by the Algerian security forces since the beginning of this year.
