Bahrain: another fire in a trade center

The Bahraini English daily Bahrain News said on Tuesday that a big fire broke into a four-story trade center in Manama. No casualties were reported. It added that the fire at al-Naqi center destroyed eight shops.
Deliberate attacks and fires had been repeatedly taking place in Bahrain since December 1994 when anti-government acts of violence erupted. It was basically led by the Shiite opposition which demands the revival of the Parliament dissolved by the ruler of the country in 1975. At least some 48 persons have been reported to be killed as a result.
