Sudanese opposition begins Cairo meeting

Meetings of the higher leadership of the Sudanese opposition start tonight at the headquarters of the Egyptian National Party.
The secretary-general of the Egyptian National Party, Yousef Wali, is delivering an address, after which the previous Sudanese prime minister and the chief of the Nation's Party El-Sadiq El-Mahdi, the opposition leadership organization's chairman Mohammed Othman El-Merghani, and John Garang as the head of the joint military leadership organization for the assembly will speak.
The preliminary committee concluded its meetings this morning and ratified the agenda of the meetings.
