Amnesty International in Palestinian areas

Within the context of the Amnesty International organization's celebration of the 50th anniversary of the international declaration for human rights, the organization is concentrating its efforts and reinforcing its presence in a number of countries, including the Palestinian self-rule territories.

The organization's coordinator in Palestine, Kamal Emidi, said that Palestine have been chosen within a plan for 10 countries in different regions of the world, including Morocco, South Africa, and Turkey.

Enidi added that the exceptional campaign that was launched last year in South Africa aims at forcing the countries to respect this declaration, where the aim is to convince these countries that there are millions of people who wish to the international declaration for human rights implemented.
