Egypt getting ready for Mediterranean ministerial conference

Fathi El-Shazeli, the Egyptian assistant foreign minister for European affairs, said after coming back from Italy and Germany that he discussed with officials in the German and Italian Foreign Ministries the issue of arrangements for the Mediterranean - European ministerial conference which is to be held in Stuttgart, Germany in April 1999.
He added that he discussed in Italy with the Foreign Ministry's secretary cooperation in the finance market and cooperation in the agricultural industrial field.
Amr Moussa, the Egyptian foreign minister, received a detailed report from El-Shazeli that includes the results of the talks with officials in Italy and Germany.
