100 million dinar agreement to support Italian - Tunisian partnership

Italy and Tunisia signed an economic partnership agreement for the fiscal year 1998/99 worth 100 million Tunisian dinars, concluding the works of the ministerial joint committee between the two countries.
This amount will be specified for supporting the Tunisian economic reform program, especially in the marine fishery sector.
Said Bin Mostafa, the Tunisian minister of foreign affairs, who headed his country's delegation said the two sides agreed on special procedures that aim at organizing immigration from Tunisia to Italy, the right to work, residency, and vocational issues.
