Canada and Egypt to sign tax agreement

Canada and Egypt will sign next week an agreement to prevent tax duplicity between the two countries in the Canadian capital, Ottawa.
Mona Kasem, the general manager for international agreements in the Egyptian Ministry of Finance, said that the agreement aims at encouraging joint investments, facilitating personal and capital movement between the two countries through avoiding the international tax duplicity.
She also said the agreement includes imposing special tax treatment for the corporations and for the individuals in both countries.
