Germany extends Morocco 50 million deutsch marks in assistance

Germany has granted Morocco 50 million deutsch marks in financial assistance to enable Morocco carry out several infrastructure projects in rural areas.
The grant, part of the financial cooperation program set up last year by the two countries, will be used in priority drinking water conveyance, electrification and environmental protection projects.
The grant accord was signed Wednesday here by Moroccan finance and economy minister, Fathallah Oualalou and German ambassador in Morocco, Herwig Bartels.
