Morocco presents periodic report to U.N. racial discrimination committee

Morocco will present this Thursday and Friday its 12th and 13th periodic reports to the 53rd session of the U.N. Committee for the elimination of racial discrimination.
In addition to Morocco's report, the Committee, chaired by Egyptian Mahmoud Abul-Nasr, will examine reports by Croatia, Cuba, Cyprus, Gabon, Jordan, Nepal, Niger and Tonga.
The U.N. Human Rights High Commissioner, Enrique Ter Horst, told the Committee that the number of states who belong to the International Convention on the elimination of all forms of racial discrimination remained the same, ie. 150 member states.
