Oman's airforce commander arrives in Tehran

Commander of Oman's Air Force Lt. Gen. Muhammad Bin Mahfouz Bin Saad al-Aridi arrived in Tehran yesterday in a two-day official visit to Tehran during which he holds talks with Iranian officials on issues of mutual concern.
In an arrival statement to reporters, Lt. Gen. al-Aridi said he is carrying a message to Iranian President Muhammad Khatami from Oman's Sultan Qaboos Bin Saeed. He expressed hope that his visit will help in strengthening relations between the two countries.
