Son of Saudi crown prince visits Iran

Prince Turkey, son of Saudi Crown Prince Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz stressed that Saudi Arabia has no concerns over the test of launching an Iranian intermediate -range missile last month.

In a statement he made on Tuesday night upon arriving in Tehran, the Saudi prince expressed happiness over the success of launching the Iranian missile Shehab 3. He added, "Saudi Arabia does not feel any concern in this respect."

Prince Turki is in Tehran to hold talks with Iranian leaders. Mohammed Ali Abtahy, the Iranian president's office director, will receive the Saudi prince.

Iranian President Muhammad Khatami and Prince Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz last Monday had a discussion in which they tackled regional affairs on the other hand an Iranian sources said that the phone call tackled the Iranian test of the surface-to-surface missile whose range reaches 1,300 km.

Iranian military leaders confirmed that the missile tests have a defensive characteristic and are not directed toward any Arab or regional country.

The Iranian president also policy herald to relaxation between Iran and it's neighbors.

Former Iranian President Ali Akbar Rafsanjani paid a visit to Saudi Arabia at the end of February, followed by a visit by Iranian foreign minister Kamal Kharazi to Saudi Arabia.
